❗️Second Israeli soldier announced dead in two days after Lebanese resistance strike near newly-occupied Beaufort Castle

An Israeli soldier has been announced dead and three others wounded following a Lebanese resistance drone strike in south Lebanon overnight.

The soldier was identified as Staff Sgt. Adam Tzarfati, 20, of the Maglan Unit, from Rosh HaAyin.

According to the Israeli military, an explosive-laden FPV drone struck an Israeli position in the town of Yohmor, near Qalaat al-Shaqif (Beaufort Castle), shortly after 1:00 a.m. The attack killed Tzarfati, seriously wounded another soldier, and lightly wounded two others. The casualties were evacuated by helicopter to hospital as resistance operations against Israeli forces in south Lebanon continue.

Israel announced on Sunday it had reached and occupied Beaufort Castle, claiming the site now forms part of its so-called "security zone" in south Lebanon.
