❗️Israel claims it killed 3,300 'terrorists' in Lebanon, but the total death toll — including civilians — is 3,371.

On 28 May, the Israeli military claimed that “more than 800 terrorists” had been killed in Lebanon since the so-called ceasefire began, adding that this figure comes on top of the “more than 2,500 terrorists” it says were killed since the start of Operation Roaring Lion.

That amounts to over 3,300 people whom Israel is classifying as militants.

Yet according to the Lebanese Health Ministry, the total death toll in Lebanon stands at 3,371 people as of 30 May.

The numbers raise an obvious question: if Israel says it has killed more than 3,300 “terrorists,” while the total number of people killed in Lebanon is 3,371, how many Lebanese civilians does Israel believe have died during the war? And is Israel once again counting nearly everyone it kills as a combatant?
