Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal said that 29 Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of Eid al-Adha as a result of ongoing Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, including a large number of women and children.

Basal said Civil Defense crews continue to operate despite severe shortages of equipment, resources, and operational capabilities.

He also issued an urgent appeal to the United Nations and other relevant bodies to take immediate action to protect civilians, halt attacks on them, and provide essential support to Gaza’s humanitarian and service sectors.
