⭕️ US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that US forces disabled the Gambia-flagged vessel M/V Lian Star in the Gulf of Oman with a Hellfire missile after it allegedly ignored more than 20 warnings and attempted to sail to an Iranian port in violation of the US naval blockade.
CENTCOM said five commercial vessels have now been disabled and 116 redirected to enforce the blockade.
This comes after US President Donald Trump falsely claimed on 29 May that the blockade would be lifted.
