❗️UAE played larger role in airstrikes on Iran than previously known
The UAE carried out dozens of airstrikes inside Iran during the early phase of the US-Israeli war on Iran, and also after the April ceasefire was declared, according to people familiar with the matter cited by the Wall Street Journal.
The sources told the WSJ that Israel and the US provided intelligence support for the operations, which hit targets including Qeshm and Abu Musa islands in the Strait of Hormuz, the port city of Bandar Abbas, the Lavan Island oil refinery, and the Asaluyeh petrochemical facility.
