❗️UAE economy grows 6.2% in 2025 as non-oil sector expands

The UAE economy expanded by 6.2% in 2025 compared with the previous year, reaching 1.9 trillion dirhams ($517.34 billion), while non-oil economic output increased by 6.8% to 1.5 trillion dirhams ($408.43 billion), according to the state news agency, citing data from the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre.

The construction sector recorded the strongest growth, expanding by 11.1%, followed by finance and insurance at 10.4%, real estate at 7.9%, and transport and storage at 7.8%.

Among non-oil industries, trade made the largest contribution to GDP at 16.9%, followed by finance and insurance at 13.2%, construction at 12.9%, and manufacturing at 12.8%.
