🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️ — NEW: President Trump requested several changes to the draft U.S.-Iran agreement during the Situation Room meeting on Friday, triggering another round of negotiations that could last several days, Axios reports.

Trump wants stronger language on key issues, particularly the handling and transfer of Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile, as well as some provisions related to reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

The current MoU includes a commitment from Iran not to pursue a nuclear weapon and a 60-day period for negotiating nuclear restrictions and sanctions relief, but Trump is seeking more specific terms.

Iran has not yet approved the final text, and U.S. officials expect Tehran’s response could take several days.

One senior administration official said, “There will be a deal,” but noted the timeline remains uncertain and could range from days to more than a week.
