Kalashnikov’s Latest Drone Spotted Dodging Ukrainian Intercept (Video)

A new surveillance drone unveiled by Russia’s Kalashnikov Group earlier in the week has already made its way to the special military operation zone in Ukraine.

The SKAT 220 is seen in video footage posted online on May 29 dodging a Ukrainian interceptor drone somewhere over the special military operation zone.

The incoming interceptor was somehow detected by the SKAT 220 operator who quickly executed a set of successful maneuvers, demonstrating the flexibility of the new drone. It is unclear where exactly the failed interception attempt was made.

Kalashnikov unveiled the drone, a scaled down version of the SKAT 350 M, earlier in the week, on May 25, on the sideline of the International Security Forum in Moscow.
