Ministry of Energy: With the continued decrease in water inflows from the Turkish side, the technical staff at the General Establishment of the Euphrates Dam has begun closing spillway gate number (4), which was releasing approximately 300 cubic meters per second.

Consequently, the amount of water released through the Euphrates Dam has decreased to approximately 1400 cubic meters per second, as part of operational procedures aimed at gradually and safely restoring water levels along the Euphrates River in Raqqa and Deir Ezzor provinces to their normal levels.
