UK ex-envoy says Syria chemical arms discovery marks key step
Former United Kingdom envoy to Syria Ann Snow said Friday that the discovery of chemical weapons dating back to the ousted regime era marked an important step toward addressing “one of the darkest aspects of the conflict’s legacy,” welcoming cooperation between Syrian authorities and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).
