A Palestinian woman who survived the Israeli attack at the Gaza port said that they had come there seeking a moment of peace away from the fear of genocide.
“We were just sitting by the sea when Israel struck the area with a missile,” she recalled.
She described scenes of chaos, people torn apart, and others critically injured, saying that what was once considered a “safe and humanitarian place” is no longer safe at all.
