Despite a fresh ICC arrest warrant request against him, Israel’s far‑right finance minister Bezalel Smotrich marched in the New York Israel Day Parade on Fifth Avenue alongside U.S. politicians and Israeli lawmakers.

In defiance of the warrant, he vowed “war on Palestinians” and ordered the immediate evacuation of Khan al‑Ahmar in the occupied West Bank, displacing hundreds as retaliation.

Just three weeks earlier, he had also joined the Jerusalem Flag March in occupied East Jerusalem, where settlers attacked Palestinians, chanted anti‑Arab and Islamophobic slogans, and openly called for another Nakba.
