On the morning of May 30, 2020, Israel shot and killed 31-year-old Palestinian Eyad Al-Hallaq near the Old City of occupied Jerusalem while he was on his way to a special needs school.
Eyad, who had severe autism and functioned at the level of a young child, was unarmed when he was killed by Israeli forces near Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Despite eyewitness accounts and calls for accountability, no charges have been filed against the officer involved.
