Breaking | Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency, citing informed sources, said President Donald Trump’s latest statements about a potential agreement with Tehran were “a mix of truth and lies” aimed at portraying a political victory before a final decision has been made.
According to the report, Iranian sources rejected Trump’s claims that Tehran agreed to dismantle its enriched uranium stockpile or guarantee toll-free passage through the Strait of Hormuz, insisting that neither provision exists in the current memorandum of understanding.
The sources also said Trump omitted key provisions that Iran considers essential, including the immediate release of $12 billion in frozen Iranian assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon, stressing that Tehran will not move to broader negotiations on sanctions or its nuclear program until those conditions are addressed.
