🇧🇬❌🇺🇸 — Bulgaria's Prime Minister Rumen Radov announces that the agreement for USAF military aircraft to stay at the Sofia International Airport and the attached Vrazhdebna Air Base will expire at the end of June, due to the United States not approving a visa-free pass for Bulgarians to visit the United States.

The airport/air base is known to host several KC-135R/T "Stratotanker" aerial refueling aircrafts and is in the vicinity of CENTCOM. These aircrafts assisted EUCOM-based fighters and strategic bombers based out of RAF Fairfield strike Iran during the Iran War.
