Australian filmmaker and Gaza flotilla activist Juliet Lamont revealed she was raped by Israeli soldiers after the Global Sumud aid vessel was intercepted in international waters.

Lamont was among more than 450 activists detained, with at least 15 reporting sexual assault or rape while in Israeli custody.

‼️ She described being shackled, beaten, and thrown into a shipping container used as a “torture tunnel,” where she was sexually assaulted. Israeli forces threatened her life, targeted passengers, and treated detainees with extreme violence.
