IDF forces have captured the Beaufort. The mountain is in our hands.
All Shabbat I’ve been going on about significant ground advances by IDF forces in southern Lebanon - now the IDF Spokesperson releases moving photos: our forces are back on the mountain. Once again, we control the Beaufort.
The IDF has launched an operation to expand ground control north of the Litani and in the Wadi Saluki area (reaching Ghendourieh yesterday required crossing this wadi).

Northern Command has launched a command-level operation on the Beaufort ridge and in the Wadi Saluki area of southern Lebanon to destroy infrastructure and eliminate terrorists, as part of strengthening operational control in southern Lebanon and removing the direct threat to the Galilee Panhandle and Metula.
The activity began several days ago, during which numerous ground forces - including the Golani Brigade, the 7th Brigade, the Givati Brigade, the Fire Brigade, and the Multi-Dimensional Unit, operating under the command of the 36th Division and with intelligence guidance from Military Intelligence - began the offensive operation to expand the forward defensive line.
The IDF crossed the Litani River and expanded attacks on Hezbollah north of the river. The operation is expanding to additional areas at this very moment.
