According to the Iranian news agency Fars, in response to President Trump's tweet:
Trump claims that Iran is obligated to open the Strait of Hormuz without charging fees, while the wording of the agreement does not include any such clause.
Iran clarified that it will reopen the strait in accordance with arrangements it set in advance, immediately after the blockade is lifted.
The Iranian arrangements include monitoring and inspection of vessels, alongside the provision of services and ensuring protection and security.
Iran is currently working to prepare the infrastructure and necessary readiness for the implementation of these arrangements.
There is no truth to Trump’s claim that Iran will dismantle or destroy its nuclear materials, and this issue is not mentioned at all in the memorandum of understanding.
One of the main clauses in the agreement, which Trump ignored, is the immediate payment of 12 billion dollars from Iran’s assets.
The amount must be transferred immediately upon implementation of the agreement; otherwise, Iran will not enter into any further negotiations before the payment is made.
One of the main clauses in the agreement that Trump ignored is the establishment of a full ceasefire in Lebanon.
