According to CBS’s Margaret Brennan, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has told them that past Russo-Ukrainian peace talks processes have been put on hold due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, as the U.S. strategic focus is currently honed in on the turbulent region. President Zelensky also told CBS that he hopes White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Envoy Jared Kushner will be able to visit Kyiv in the coming weeks. However, at the time of writing, no dates for future negotiations have been set.
