The U.S. Air Force lifted the operational pause for the T-38 "Talon" that was implemented on May 20th following the May 12th crash of a T-38 from Columbus Air Force Base, MS. During the pause, Air Force officials finalized inspection procedures that will allow the aircraft to safely return to flight. The T-38 is slated to begin retirement next year as the T-7A "Red Hawk" enters active service.
