Following his "very productive call" with Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump claimed, in a post on Truth Social, that "there will be no [Israeli occupation] Troops going to Beirut, and any Troops that are on their way, have already been turned back."

Trump further alleged having had a "very good call with Hezbollah," via "highly placed Representatives." He further alleged that the Resistance "agreed that all shooting will stop - That Israel will not attack them, and they will not attack Israel."

Trump's statements followed immense pressure from Iran after "Israel" issued displacement threats against Beirut's Southern Suburb, prompting Iranian officials to issue warnings of retaliation against the occupation if it aggresses against Lebanon.
