The Lebanese Resistance released a statement regarding the Israeli presence at the historic Beaufort Castle.

According to the statement, the IOF reached the site and took photos, later circulated on May 31, claiming occupation, despite there being no Resistance military presence inside the castle, and the IOF having failed to establish a foothold thus far.

Since dawn yesterday until now, the IOF has struggled to consolidate its forces around the castle, with troops positioned near the rest area below it, the statement said, adding that the Resistance continues a battle of attrition against the deployed forces, and that future footage will confirm this.
