In an interview for Al Mayadeen on Sunday, Professor Mohammad Marandi affirmed that there will be no ceasefire between Iran and the United States if the Israeli regime continues its onslaught in Lebanon.

"It will not happen. There is a 0% chance of it happening. It is out of the question," Professor Marandi stressed.

He noted that the Americans do not have much time, citing credible experts who say that US oil reserves and strategic reserves across the West will be depleted in the coming weeks.

Professor Marandi explained that once this happens, no one will be able to calm the markets, and Trump will no longer be able to sustain the current situation, as fuel prices will surge and there will be a severe shortage of other commodities, which he said would have a devastating impact on the US economy.
