In an interview for Al Mayadeen on Sunday, Professor Mohammad Marandi said that Iran is home to a wide range of diverse opinions on all issues, noting that this has been reflected in elections over the decades and highlighting that people are free to express their views wherever they are.

In the context of the current war, Professor Marandi said there is a high degree of unity within Iranian society and among the political elite, stressing that there are no divisions today that the United States or "Israel" can place their hopes on.

With regard to dealing with the United States and the Israeli regime, Professor Marandi stressed that "there is a great deal of unity, and there are no divisions."
