While the US and Iran are working on drafting a memorandum of understanding to end the war on all fronts, releasing Iran's frozen assets, asserting Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz, and lifting the US naval blockade, among other clauses, the Iranian army announced that its air defense forces successfully targeted and shot down a hostile US-Israeli drone over Qeshm Island in southern Iran.
The army later published footage of its wreckage.
