Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that he expressed Iran's solidarity with Oman in the face of any threat during a "very productive phone call" with his Omani counterpart, Badr Albusaidi.
In a post on X, Araghchi wrote that both ministers discussed the Strait of Hormuz and "its future administration in line with our sovereign responsibilities and international law."
"We welcome consultation with all neighboring states," he added.
