In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Harley Schlanger, spokesperson for the Schiller Institute, said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing an upcoming election, explaining that he is in worse political shape than US President Donald Trump right now because he made promises he could not keep.

Schlanger said that the situation in "Israel", citing reports he is receiving, is becoming "very nasty" and "very angry."

He added, "Now, the question partly is, can Donald Trump keep Israel from blowing things up or will there be a false flag that will lead to an escalation in fighting between Iran and the United States?"
